MEN in Black together w/ other security units march on parade on the malacanang grounds...





Some say these men are part of the NCRPO-RSAU Unit..i doubt it coz w/ the high cost of the G36 rifles, Mich 2000 helmets,etc... unfortunately, they can't afford it since they only have a meager budget allocation for equipment.

I Believe these men belong to the Elite PSG-SRU..

the PSG is currently the only unit of the afp that is armed w/ the latest HK G36 Assault Rifle & have the resources to fund such purchase. Also, notice on the 2nd PIC-the patches on their right shoulder do not depict the PNP Patch (lapu Lapu)....

The SPECIAL REACTION UNIT is a specially trained tactical unit of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) responsible for neutralizing attacks on high-risk protectees. These units typically operate in heavily-armed, five-man teams that augment an existing protective detail. In the event of an assault, their purpose is to engage the attacker(s) while the protective detail evacuates their principle to safety. In the Presidential motorcade, one of the two armored limosines contains a counter assault team in order to repel potential attacks on the motorcade


So the Next time u guys see Men in Black armed w/ G36 rifles & Mich helmets-Take cover coz they only Strike when the President is under Clear & Present Danger!

yung first squad lang naman ang naka G36... look at the 2nd squad carefully, notice the triangular sights and rounded fore grips....

pero ngayon ko lang natitigan ng matagal itong mga pics na ito... ang SAF pala OD ang vests HINDI black as what we have!!!

Sir, napansin ko rin ito. Maganda ang blending nitong OD vest sa sa field.

BTW, Palaging atang malapit ang mga marines sa SAF?

Notice that just right behind the 2 saluting PSG guards are the Marines.

I think its better to keep our identify vs. SAF. Mahirap na at baka pag initan tayo. guapo din naman ang Black vests natin eh.

The PNP SAF do also wear the Black Vests as dipicted on the above photo during the recent ministerial meet. i think they use their black vests & gears when thay are posted in urban areas. While the od vests are worn when they will be assigned in rural areas,field or in the jungle. Also, the od vests are not ballistic vests but are light recon vests which were issued long before the digi saf bdu arrived.

U.S. embassy SAFs use black vests.
NLEX check point sentries use OD vests.
